A feast for the eyes. That was the core brief for this project.

Creative agency All Caps shaped the main idea — YUM VOYAGE — the story of a candy being born. A Pick’s journey from fresh berry, through freeze-drying, into cocoa coating, and finally into the pack. All set in a fairytale world that does not follow the usual laws of physics.

We wanted the backdrop to feel bright, colorful, and organic. Inspired by natural meadows, we created an imaginary landscape with surreal colors, rich textures, and a small chocolate lake at its center. This became the visual epicenter of the film.

The project was a dynamic mix of textures, surfaces, effects, and camera movement — an exciting 3D challenge.

One key scene was forming a raspberry out of dew drops. Transparent water spheres had to compress, reshape, and gradually take on color. We used several animation and simulation techniques to make the transformation feel organic.

Another important moment was the explosion of the cocoa-coated berry and its return to the final candy form. As the climactic scene, it was enhanced with slow motion. We controlled the blast through modified animation, adjusting speed and timing while keeping the motion soft and tactile.

Everything in this film revolves around taste. To heighten that feeling, we used visual tricks and 3D tools: simulation, procedural animation, shading, material work, and controlled particle effects. Sound played an important role too. The freeze-dried berry and cocoa coating both have a pleasant crunch, so we built that crisp texture into the soundscape to make the taste feel even stronger.
